Projectors have a wide array of uses. It can be used for home theater, video gaming, business & educational presentations, and many more. One can even see these being used in churches for song lyrics projection during mass, video projection during concerts or in any large gathering or meetings where presentation materials needed to be projected for everybody to read and make reference to.

There are two major categories for video projectors. One is the Tubed or CRT (Cathode Ray Tube) which is the original and still is the best projector that could produce the best picture. The second category is that of the LCD Projector which is user-friendly, portable and less expensive.

Those under the CRT category are the expensive ones, and which requires an expert to set-up & install, and requires experience to adjust the lenses. These are usually mounted either on the ceiling or on the floor, thus making it difficult to move.

The downside for the LCD projectors is that when their lenses are magnified, it produces the “chicken wire” effect
